2nd climbing removal. I find it easier be than a bucket truck. Got lots of good ash wood for the stacks. The guy I cut it for helped haul it all to my house.
For a second here I was expecting like a dig out of the wood stove just prior to burning, like a tutorial. Nice haul there!

Nice cuttin' and hookin' EAB casualty? Just watch climbing in them ash they've been failing in weird places eventhough they look fine because of the EAB. Around here no one is allowed to climb in them regardless of visual inspection. There has been a few I've seen this year that failed right at the base!
Yeah the roots are pulling water still and they are rotting at the stump. This one was dead but she still had green in it.
That's a lot of limbs for an ash. That's why I like getting them in the woods where there are fewer limbs. And most of my climbing days are over now. I would not mind working in a bucket though.
