Dropped a small dying pin oak in the backyard. I hit it with the bucket pretty good years ago and it's slowly started falling apart. Gonna build a new shed in the spot now.Oh well, it'll keep us warm in the near future
It will burn nicely. Some really hate this stuff as the odor is a bit on the strong side. I don't mind it at all.
Well stuff happens by accidently hitting the tree but what the heck let it not go to waste. Should make for some good heat.
*sniff sniff* I'm not smelling anything just yet....wait a few days maybe it'll fight the winds and wind up in my area. Nice to get it down I bet
Personally it smells like .........and cheese. But here in WA, some dead on its roots Madrona smells like some cultured toe jam. It doesn't smell like that when its fresh though.
