That sucks G!.....I bought vented and slotted rotors and brakes for my Civic....they thankfully came in in pristine condition...They packed a box in a box.

Yeah one was box in a box that should have had more packing but that was fine. I am really pizzsed that they obviously took the other one back as a return, put it in a bag and just re shipped it. Someone in warehousing that has no clue about nothing being on the brake surface figured it was fine :picard:

It might be fine but without knowing what it is I am not taking that chance. Just sux to lose the day on this and not have the job complete

I hate not getting hardware with the pads...drives me fukkin crazy...OR the hardware they send isn't the correct hardware, been down that road a couple times. I've already ordered hardware separate from the pads because it never said in the description that hardware was included only to get hardware with the pads...lol....can't win sometimes.

I used Ackebono on this (Honda manufacture) after getting burned by NAPA-the OEM pads went forever with no issues or brake dust so I went with the manufacture that makes them. Came with hardware

Akebono's are my favorite pad (last long and no brake dust) and IMO they are the best but I bought one of those rotor kits that came with these carbon fiber pads....they seem decent so far but I hardly use the Civic cuz I mostly drive the work truck

It's another Saturday vodka night. That makes two Saturdays in a row and probably 5 for the year. Think I got a problem?

On another note, have window fans cranking getting cooler air into the house. Currently 79* in the house - big difference from two weeks ago when I was cranking the pellet stove. I'm okay with that since the mornings have been in the higher 50's low 60's for riding to work. I know there is no problem with that! Well, besides I have no ambition to break in the motor to the new sn*w blower I bought last spring - heck, I haven't even figured out the controls yet. Much different from my old blower. Eh, it will get done eventually - in no hurry for the white stuff.
