WNY Gas & Steam Engine Association Ive been going to this since I was little it's great everything you could imagine to buy or see if you are into old iron! Saws, food, antiques, you name it! I will be there tomorrow if anyone else will be I'd always like to say hi to a fellow hoarder
A few pics from today... Not exactly a stove but boy did it have a heck of a draft going up through it blacksmith fishingpol A nice lineup of some gorgeous big iron Of course saws! How would you like to take on a pile of logs with this old girl?!
That looks like a real cool show. I love any big iron, traction engines, steam powered machinery, power hammers, presses, etc. Nothing like that around here but a few hit or miss engines.
There was plenty of those from 1hp to a few 100 horse plus monsters! They really shake earth when they fire making over 100 hp on a cylinder
A new smaller mill they were trying out today, the big one is in the barn in the back ground. Belted up to a steamer of course And a planer they had belted to a McCormick W4 Wished I'd taken more pictures today but it was a good day that I wait for every year. My little guy just turned three and he's just as nuts about it as me
There was a planer like that for sale two towns over from me. Very similar in size. I can't remember how many cutter knives were on it. Pretty serious machinery.
Are you talking about the Canandaigua steam show? That was a few weeks ago and a good show too. We made that one this year too and my 3 year old son got to operate a full size 1940's era dragline!!
Nice to see you pop in J.Walker How have ya been? PS: won't derail too long J. Dirt, just haven't heard much out of Mr. Walker of late
Still buzzing trees and buying saws. I gave up hording firewood because it just goes bad after six years or so! Photobucket has derailed me other wise I could show you this new Husky 390xpg from Canada .
