I was away for the weekend and found this when I got back:

    Img_6232a.jpg

The message they missed was that I was finished scrounging for the year.

Now I have to suffer and split those 2 foot diameter rounds that were split in half and stacked in my processing area. My wife wishes people would listen to me when I say I'm finished, her yard is too full of firewood. At least I'm not in too much trouble because I was with her and she knows I didn't ask for it.

By how clean it is and the way it is stacked I'm sure I know who dropped it off. I just have to make sure I don't accidentally tell him not to do it again.

Thanx but it might be a little too far when I need to move wood into the house. Maybe if you were near Ludlow I could pick a load up each ski weekend.

Hmmm...maybe I should try that. Tell people I'm finished for the year and have nice split rounds of hardwood show up in my processing area. So that's the secret Huh?

I told a wood hookup I was done with pine for the year, and have gotten three dump trailer loads since. (He did ask first) I felt guilty but also happy stacking the rounds, like when you didn't order wings with your pizza but there's a box of em there anyway, and they're not on the bill.
