Thanks to Kevin.....I am now the new owner of this fine Stihl 180 Mini Boss !! Got almost 40 degrees up here in these parts today....so it only seemed fitting to try out this fantastic little saw ! Was really quite surprised at how much cutting speed this little booger has . Tacks out on the high end to a very nice neck hair raising tune !! ( I have a WT-215 adjustable carb on the way...so as to be able to adjust the settings ! ) Runs real well as is though :) And talk about lightweight !!!! This is probably the most nimble and powerful "little" saw in my bunch !!! I hold my little Dolmar 350 in high regard for its nimbleness and power . This Stihl 180 is a full 3.5 lbs. lighter with full tanks ! I guess you guys can tell...I like this saw alot...and it now has a good home on my shelf !! Thanks again for the saw buddy :) :)
Got the pups out today...got a camp fire going...and a few "light saws"....and crunched around in the snow ! What a great day :)
Sorry...no pics of the girlfriend ...shes a bashful lil booger....but trust me...shes a babe ..and is no slouch with a saw !

The day I got it !!!

I've got a 180 also and it's definitely a great small firewood saw. I could swing that sucker around all day. Nice pics.

Hey say what you want about that little saw but it's a great saw for its size. No sense swingin a big saw around for limbs and small logs.

I know what you mean I have a 38cc and 45cc quake and have a stihl 011 top handle. But even that is 40cc.

That 180 looks fantastic Honey Fuzz! They are a good one for sure. Resist the temptation to put .050 chain on it, I've always liked a lil' Stihl like that with their PMM series (.043) chain.

I agree. That little picco cuts nicely......especially if a novice user might use the saw

I appreciate the advise . Ill keep the chain size alone..I like the lil chain too !! Already did a little muffler mod on it . Got the baffles out of the way...and opened up the outlet quite a bit !! The new wt-215 carb will be here in a few days as well . Then it will be all done..just the way i like it :) Its amazing how much the muffler mod does to this saw . Gives it more snap..and revs up to top end quicker ! Oh...and sounds like a hoped up weadeater
