I have mad respect for those of you that split and stack a cord in one day. It's time to optimize my splitting procedure. Im thinking a lift, and outfeed table, and maybe some nephews!

Yep, I've been in the same boat on the small splits. I had a 1.8 cu ft. box... Looking good there, before long you'll be 3 years ahead you keep at that pace.

Take care of that shoulder. :drunk:

I figure I got a 1/3 of next years wood there, and from the looks of the weather, it might be a little while before I can go out and get some more. My plan is to get a bigger stove for next year.

Good luck to both Keith and Scotty. Those bruises and inflemation are not fun. For the shoulder, I was advised several years ago to have the shoulder fixed under a knife but instead tried massage therapy. Won't say it doesn't bother now but is a whole lot better and no knife has touched it.

The ribs, Scott, I bruised mine pretty bad when I fell (or Judy pushed me) into the well pit. Took about 3 weeks or so to get rid of that one.
