New Tops on my uglies crates, 2x4s front n back, rolled up and screwed to the tarps with Fender washers, some more kindling mostly Cedar and a little bit of pine, that's all going right in the house, might be using some of that next couple days, maybe tonight windows are open and it's 66 inside

I end up with a lot of chunks too, from scrounges, pieces all cut different sizes, once I cut to stove length I have 3 4 5" chunks

Good for early burns like this time of year. Also sure to dry out quickly.

    Looks good
Dry wood much more fun to burn

Still green there & no leaves falling

Getting the little things done now will help when the weather change comes

Little bit of leaves right over there the Hickory has been dropping them for a month.
Don't want to be caught with my pants down

IMG_3672.JPG I have an uglies bin too-it gets every thing from the unstackable to extra kindling which is almost non-essential here-once I light, it stays burning 24-7 til no longer needed-Uglies have their place you know...
Hope this finds you well my friend...Leaves dropping here like crazy

Hamburger my friend but like you say, its orthopedic, not life or death so we'll suck it up buttercup!...But, seriously,, when quality of life is gone, i.e., cant work as hard as I want or draw my bow or swing a golf club,, it's time---Surgery scheduled for Dec 20...Merry XMas to me...it's painful, I had the L side done in 2010 but again, not life or death---Deal with it...!

Only if they have pain killers as sprinkles...it hurts my friend and that's not waaah, waaah! Cant lay down, hurts to think...and I'm right handed so worse this time...4 wks in sling, 4-6 wks in PT-It's like a toothache/migraine on crack or at least the L side was...hopefully advances in science and technique have improved since 2010-I can still lift ground to waist so I'll get my latest project of 3+ cord done prob within next 2 wks then be good-gonna stack up 2 mos worth on front porch for my girl and hope to keep the fire going-I got this! Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've had two torn rotator cuffs for the past 12-14 years. I just deal with it for now. Some day they will have to get fixed.

I cringe just remembering the pain from my broken & torn shoulder from January. 2 months of non existent sleep.... and yes the toothache on steroids is exactly the description I used also....
