    Here is a quoate
"Hurricane Harvey has thrown crude oil for a loop, too. West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures rose about 35 cents to $47.78 per barrel Friday, while Brent Crude futures rose about 38 cents to $52.42 a barrel. Both price rises helped recoup some of their losses from Thursday, when investors worried that the storm would force refineries to temporarily stop processing crude oil, leading to excess supply."

Just heard heating oil may go up 20 to 40 cents per gallon!!
I hope there is no pellet shortage!!

Heck if a sultan sneezes on the other side of the pond its an excuse to jack prices up- iirc back in the day there was no such thing as futures trading- prices stayed pretty stable. Now prices are driven by what ever hot air blows up there pant legs or skirts.

Oil or Gasoline? Oil would be a lot different than gasoline since oil trades for about $1.15 per gallon right now. It's all rigged anyways.

Or are you talking about heating oil?

Well, it is already causing havoc with the gas supply to the Northeast. One can't help but think that it will also affect heating oil.

Upper New England gets a lot of its fuel (heating and vehicle) from Canada, but that may or may not help if bidding wars get started.

Don't get me started on this.....All commodity prices are rigged.
You guys have a lot to answer for from allowing Wall St to get so powerful. Greedy SOBs wreak havoc and misery around the world to line their own pockets. The only winners from disasters is Wall St and they make it much worse than it should be in the process. You don't even need to look at oil, just look at currency manipulation - they are all just a bunch of crooks on computers.:heidi:

Just heard on the news that NH gas prices are up 14 cents from this time last week. Will only go higher for a while.

There's plenty of blame to go atound. But Switzerland and China rank higher than the US when it comes to currency manipulation

Wow. $2.74:bug::bug:.im about 30 minutes south of Boston and the Cheapest gas station to me jumped from $2.07 to $2.29 in a week and I thought we had it bad. $2.74:hair::hair:. My daughter is in her senior year at liberty university in Lynchburg Virginia. Dropped her off last week and gas was $1.95 at Sheets. Funny to see how the gas prices rise as we crossed into gifferent states as we drove north. By the time we hit Connecticut it was $$2.65

    Just to be clear....
If I "Like" a comment about the price of gas, or pellets (or hotdogs)
It doesn't necessarily mean I "Like" the price...
Just the "information" passed on about it!!

(What I don't like... is pictures from a certain BBQ guy
showing his steaks and ribs on the grille etc....
While I am having a chicken salad sandwich and chips for dinner!!...)
