    The hills of Western MA
    It's ugly, it's 6"deeper on the right than the left by virtue of a couple well placed cedar poles, and it's done. Close to five cord by my measure, plus a rack of really uglies next to it that will continue to grow. Put together with the pine stack and the other nine or so cord of hardwood, I hope to have leftovers after feeding the boiler all she can eat this winter. Total cost, not including gas and time: $0.

    I was thinking about next year into May but it sounds like most of the guys like it the time we've had it the last 2 years so that is probably it.
