    I have started walking again. Not long walks as I had an issue with my foot this summer. It is dark in the morning especially with the cloud cover the last two mornings. I did get to see two older deer and two this year's fawn this morning and I was serenaded by a kitty cat who was trying to sound fierce. Earlier in the week I was treated to awesome sunrises.

    Our rain didn't amount to much but I hope it helps the blackberries out. I hope to be able to go out and pick some this weekend.

    Woodwidow, I posted this picture for your enjoyment. Thought you'd like the 2-toned fawn; spots only on shoulders and hind quarters now. When we got this picture we both declared, "Wow!" Well, it does show that the deer are changing their coats from the summer to the winter coat. It doesn't take a long time to change but for sure longer than it does for us to change.

    Today pretty much a carbon copy of yesterday.
    Yesterday: Picked my truck up at the transmission shop and gave them $2600. It wouldn't turn over. It was not that unusual if it sits for a couple of weeks. They jumped me. Went to the bank and then to the carry-out. No start. Not even a click this time. Called my wife and tried to jump it. No go. Pulled the battery and took it to the parts store. The said the battery was good but was only a 55% charge. Didn't believe them so I bought a new battery. Back to the carry-out and installed it. Truck started and drove it home. Charged the old battery. The charger said it was at 100% after the charge.
    Today: Went to the grocery store. Came out and same old crap. Called my wife, had her bring me the old battery and installed it. No change. Not even a click. Called the tow company and had it drug home. Finally home after a 4 hour grocery trip.
    So nothing got done either day.
    I need to search the net and see if I can find a wiring diagram for the truck. Being a retired Industrial Electrician for 45 years I consider this a challenge to find the problem if I can find a diagram.

    Put a screw driver on the backside of the alternator when the truck is runnng and it will have a magnetic attraction if the alternator is charging.
