Same here since 1992 until I had an issue in 2006 and Allstate more than doubled my auto insurance. Progressive gave me the same coverage I had at Allstate at almost 50% less $$ so I have had them since for auto and M/C.

Homeowners still with Allstate and they have been hounding me for the last 8 years for my auto

Pretty much what we had yesterday and was 46 this morning too. Rode the bike in to work both mornings.

Sunday I did get the pellet stoves all dandied up for the coming burn season. The P61a was pretty clean - I must have cleaned it and only burned a couple of hours after that. Come to think of it, I was doing construction in the basement last spring, and just turned it off so I wouldn't overheat. The P43 was pretty dirty and its ash pan was 3/4 full. Each exhaust got both the linteater and the LBT treatments

I use Concord Group thru an agent. I'm unsure if they are just a NH company or surrounding states also.

They are the cheapest for me and are very responsive and easy to deal with if you have a claim. We had a claim at our old house, and then I just had one recently for roof damage. I am extremely happy with them.

Disclaimer - I have not had any other HO insurance besides Concord Group in almost 30 years of home ownership.

I'm lifting weights 4 times a week. Set up is in the stove (living) room.
I've used the oil burner twice so far to get things warm enough to workout.
I don't think i'll make it till late september before Helga gets put back to work.
I have to have the room at least 74 to lift.

 - wow, you like it warm. If I'm even vacuuming that is too warm for me. The funny thing is though, that when I'm not doing any activity, I hate to be cold and would really prefer that it is 72-76.

Smoking hot in Cali right now. Temps hit 109ºF yesterday. If that weather makes it here? Might want to keep them a/c's in for a bit.

Yeah, only since i started lifting is this an issue. If it's sunny, the front porch gets plenty warm to bring the living room up if i open that door.
I get regular updates from my friends back in Oregon who have been melting most of the summer. I think this summer has been the mildest since we moved here. Also the lowest bug levels.

Fortunately, i don't need the rest of the house that warm. In the winter i would stand right in front of the stove between sets.

Add Maine and Massachusetts to your list. I have HO and Auto through them. Been the case for decades.

Got to finish putting the car back together, I evicted a mouse from the ventilation system last evening. The boss and I are heading to the Lost Gull for lunch today. Didn't need a stinky in the vent system.

I had them for years also for auto and home and had no issues with them but really didn't put in any claims. My local agent was bought out by a larger group who then bought another and so on and all of a sudden they tell me that they're dropping Concord Group because of a price increase and switching to Hanover Insurance. My premiums are the same and I haven't had any issues but I wasn't happy they switched me without consulting me.

Have you ever had to file a claim with them?

So glad I had the central A/C installed in the shack this past spring.....no more putting window units in & out, and my electric bill actually went down compared to the year before.

Had to fire up the heating unit for about 10 minutes when I got home to take the chill off the shack. :shiver:

Rode the bike to work today as son took my truck for a few days. Froze my a$$ tonight riding home in a light rain. Just took a comforter out and put it on the bed, Thinking of digging under it and joining the dachshunds, I'm cold .
