    IMG_3832.JPG found this in an old barn up high in the rafters at an estate sale.
    I cleaned her up and put a fresh coat of paint and urethane on. Cant wait to use it. ( pun intended !!!!!) $16.50. Love a good find.

    I've had one for years and never used it until recently...the last five or so.

    I don't go into the woods to make a load without it now!

    Very nice. The handle looks original? I doubt I'd trust it with too heavy a load, as it looks like there is a knot about halfway up on it. Either relegate it to wall art, baby it, or make a new ash or hickory handle.
