I got the lawn mowed just as it started to rain tonight. I only got a little wet as I was pretty much done when I started feeling a few drops.

I might work on the motorcycle a little in a couple minutes.

I was up at 0430, catching a flight to Albany, then drive to Cooperstown and back to Albany tonight. Flight back to Atlanta tomorrow at 0600.

Yup got up at 4 am to go grab my Lil girl visiting cousins in Greenwich. Conn... Basically upscale wall street neighborhood.. You are sometimes in life your allowed glimpses of what could have been... I worked on street for year.. Yes there was money, culture etc etc.. But always traffic crowds crime. So 8 hours later the girls are out shopping for school supplies in some mall in Connecticut..

Me I wanna go home... to my town without a single stop light .. Have a bonfire.. But I'm stuck in metro traffic he!! I probably have been a successful on the street.. But I am HAPPY in country with me tractors and saws.. I thought I was :loco:  but then joined FhC

Yes on road for a little over an hour and wait for it..

    Yes a Yankee candle village:headbang:

Of course we can stop.. But I am keeping receipts.. She needs candles ...I need a new air compressor.. So odds a 4 hour trip may take 6 hours or is 8 hours more realistic..

Not a gun store hardware store outdoors equipment store anywhere

Canadian border VT Sounds like you have to move there and open one of those gun, hardware, outdoor equipment stores so others don't have to experience the angst you feel.:makeitrain":tractor::seasoned:

We used to go to the Yankee candle shop in Lansing and they had a mix and match holder for $1 candles. That was probably 5 years ago now you can't buy a candle under $5 so we stopped buying them.

Wife likes them cause scents fill house and last 36 hours..

She tells me with coupons the big ones are less than 15 when she buys them and make house smell so nice... My best response was cook bacon.. She is sensitive to smells.. Its not a battle I chose to engage in.

She took my 12 yo shopping for bras.. I went and spent same money on bullets.. My version of equality..

to be fair wife does 90% of my clothes and shoe shopping.. really I'm good:D
