Lets see the ranges and places you shoot. Mine is not a range but a place I made in the woods. I do not buy targets as I do a LOT of shooting and would go through targets like crazy. so I just make my own simple ones. they work. I'm not one that has to have every shot hitting in one ragged hole. I also don't use a sled to shoot with. I mainly shoot offhand, sometimes I will lean against a tree or the truck. Every now and then I will use a bipod. I try to shoot like it would be real world shooting, never have I been in a hunting situation where a sled could be used. I do have one I bought on clearance and use it to sight in one, but after that I don't use it. Ok now don't laugh at my gold paper with a circle drawn on them.lol I must admit they do look redneck when I see others with those color targets that you can see the shot. I'd rather buy ammo than those. Most of the handguns are shot at 12 to 15 yards, rifles are between 50 and 100 yards. depends on the type of sight on it. I prefer shooting iron sights on ar's.
