I like where this thread is going :)

I'm a good friend of, and used to crew on the Demarco Racing cars, so I'm no stranger to fast Fords on 275's with a Ford engine (not that it makes two crap worth of difference whose engine is in it) and a REALLY fast Buick with a Chrysler engine.

I've seen some very fast cars with Ford motors,I'm not saying there isn't or can't be,I'm saying it's not often and certainly cost more.

Most every car around here running 4 and 5 second 1/8 miles are all chevy motors because there's more fast parts for less money .

Psi or boost is relative. You'll lift the heads first, when talking stock short blocks.
Power is relative to VE though, big heads and a turbo/blower cam increases VE. If running a turbo off say 20lb spring the motor will make much more power with heads/cam vs stock. Hence the whole boost is relative...
Lots of ls motors have failed lol. 99% of the time it's knock/bad tune.
The bottom ends are stout, best hot rod motor there is.
This is a more recent record ls stock bottom end.http://www.lsxmag.com/news/fastest-stock-bottom-end-5-3-ls-in-the-world-goes-7-81/

I like this one. Herman lost it in a race and Grandpa had to win it back.

I've always been curious about these after watching one of those consumer detective shows. They showed something like 4 of 5 stations tested were NOT e-free. When questioned, the store owners all blamed it on their supplier. They also showed how to test with the water in the bottle method mentioned earlier.
So has anyone actually tested their claimed e-free?

Nope never tested it, but my Garden tractor sets all winter, in the past I always had to pour gas in the carb to get it going in the spring, since I've been using the E free gas, I don't have to do that,, I always used sta bil before, and after I started using e free

Here are some fast Fords. The red and black foxbodys are Chevy powered. I'm pretty sure the rest are Ford powered. At the end of last year they let them run an outlaw real street, there were no weight restrictions and some of the cars went 4.8 and 4.9.

Yes, that's Andrews car in its original configuration. Single turbo and a Proline Racing small block.

It's now a 450" small block from a local builder, and a vortech X275 spec blower.

    First to go 200mph on a 275, and for a time it was the quickest car on a 275 with a 6.83 @ 211.

Never said a Ford motor can't be fast
I said it's not very common and it costs more.
All it takes to make anything fast is money.

A 2500 to 3000hp 275 radial car no matter if it's Ford or chevy powered will not have one single part of the motor that's made buy chevy or Ford.

I don't know how much noise the car makes. The company is going to offer a limited production run if anyone has the money. A track version of the car with roll bars etc did 235 mph on a test track in Ohio. Check out the video:
