Anyone else think fall is the best time of year? We like to camp as much as possible. Post up some pictures of your camping adventures. Here's a few from last weekend
I love fall camping! In Montana fall camping would turn to winter camping in a second. Glad I had my golden with me! With the house build I haven't had time the go camping the last two years.
I agree, fall camping, or for that matter just being able to get out in the bush is all good. Really enjoy being able to take it all in on a crisp fall day when the sky is clear and the sun adds just enough heat. It is my favorite time of year as well.
Have fun Lukem..... nothing like seeing children enjoying the outdoors. Make sure to take some pictures
Fall is nice. Days with a warm sun but crisp nights. One bag of ice lasts the weekend. Some of the later apples are getting sweet and crisp. Another time of year I also like is early spring just as the leaves are about to pop open. If you hit it right the woods can be carpeted with wildflowers that bloom early when the forest floor gets the full sun.
Our kids (two grown daughters) both say that the best times of childhood was camping. Maybe not the hard climb up the mountain to wilderness camp but setting up the campsite and spending the night was grand. Now one daughter backpacks and car camps with two kids and a husband on camping trips and the other one does kayak camping. Her and her husband just spent a month in July kayaking the Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands).
