    Mods, let me know if there is a better place for this thread to reside.

    I would like to set up a raffle with ALL proceeds going to tlandrums fundraiser.

    I'm thinking a $25 donation to the fund and limiting it to 40 members so 1k goes to the fund and some member gets a new saw. I'd say a 1 in 40 chance is pretty sweet....

    this is the saw I was looking at...MS180

    The OP earlier read different and I was going to suggest just a standard model. I come back to comment and it reads differently :)

    So I applaud this thread. A regular MS 180 is a fine saw and I would gladly get in on this. I have donated and will continue to donate in the other thread, but this is a good fundraiser from FHC only.

    Great idea Woodporn! ! :)

    No really, as many as you want but only 40 chances will be sold.

    Do you guys use paypal? Or would a check to me be a better option or both...

    Paypal gets kinda funny about this stuff. It's a good way to get yourself banned from PP.

    I like the idea of restricting it to one entry per person since the number of entries is limited overall. At least until everybody interested has had a chance to enter and then accept 2nds.

    Woodporn, do you have the saw yet?

    I do not, I will probably buy it tomorrow.
    So 1 entry pp, $25 per entry, Payable by check to either me, or TLandrum, I'll run this until march 15th unless we sell out before then, after the entries are verified tlandrum can pick the winning # and I'll ship the saw to the winner.
    Mods ....shall I start a new thread tomorrow or just pick a start time on this one?

    PayPal as a Goods or Service (but add 3%). Would be o.k. You won't get 1099'd over $1,000.

    But if check or M.O. is needed? I can do that to.

    I send and receive a fair amount through PayPal (a "Fair" amount). A grand would be easier all in one location (AKA- his PayPal so it can all be transferred at once). But that's my opinion.
