Hey everyone....miss me?!?! Wait don't answer that. Looks like I have a bit-o-reading to do to catch up around her unless someone wants to give a me nickel tour of the goings on that I missed.
Just noticed, if you look in the background, behind the trailer that is attached to the black and purple mack, you can see the hood folded up of the burnt 2016 ford that i was involved in.
schlot To catch you up on the happenings, guys and gals have been andand:stacke: wood. Pics have been taken and shared with all of us.
Porting a 395XP today. Almost done with the grinding and machine work........it'll soon be time to button it back up.
Got one lawn done; one more to do. Just may put it off too since its kinda OK yet. Soc sec did not have the answer I was looking for.....
To bad. My dealings with SS office have been surprisingly good and fast so far. I hate dealing with any GVT agencies.
It is nothing the SS office did...or maybe not, I guess. Reviewing my year by year earnings, there was one year with no earnings..at all. Just a big fat "0" for that year. I've exhausted all my options to prove income for that year but since it was about 30 years ago, no one (including the IRS) is required to keep records from that long ago. SS office says it was probably paid into them but never recorded....hard to say.
I got home late Sat. from a Canadian fishing trip. We had fairly good fishing every day and had a fish fry for a group of five every night. Weds. AM was a stellar day of fishing. With many smaller ones thrown back. My grandson was housing and we came home to many problems Spent the yesterday and today catching up. Went to the grocery store this morning and hardware store to purchase repair parts for the lawn mower. Repaired the mower and mowed 2 acers. Also renewed 2 vehicle plates and my drivers licenses. Yes, the state got into my wallet pretty good. Canned up 6 quarts of peppers and picked a quart of blackberries. Looked into the transmission leak on my truck. All and all a lot accomplished for me.
Road tripping for work. Hot and humid here in FL working in a building with no AC. Work/travel home from 6AM to 1AM tomorrow.
The only thing I ever liked about Florida was the "Welcome To Florida" sign in my rear view mirror. lol
This is caused by lack of planning and could you imagine what would happen during a dry summer. Lowville Threatens Fines For Excessive Water Use
Well, that is not necessarily true: How are Social Security benefits calculated? First, a worker's previous earnings are restated in terms of today's wages to reflect wage growth. Second, earnings for the highest 35 years are averaged and divided by the number of months in 35 years to arrive at Average Indexed Monthly Earnings . . . If you have less than 35 years of earnings (for example, you were laid off or caring for family members and out of work for three years during your working years), you may want to work enough additional years so you have a full 35 years of earnings. Otherwise, the Social Security Administration will average in zeros for any years less than 35 My best year ever (not even put into today's $$) was 2001. I got a big bonus from a buyout of the company that I worked for. Then got laid off after 9/11 and got a week's severance for every partial year I was there (13+ years), then my accumulated vacation time - calculated to the end of the year. All said, my total last paycheck was 19 weeks of pay. If they turned that year into a $0, that would be a decent sized blow into the calculation. In today's $$, it would be around half again as much as I am making now between the two jobs (which is my best year since 2001).
Forget it. I'm gonna finish out the week and pull the plug. This country boy doesn't need to be in Chicago. Hard call to make, but it's got to be done.
