Some may remember the cross threaded/frozen spark plug I had in this truck a year or so ago. I left the house for work and as I get out of my neighborhood the oil light comes on. I get back to the house and switch vehicles. After work I check the oil and it's full. Well I should have asked my mechanic for his opinion instead of driving it to work again, as I'm two block from work it starts to cut out and dies. I get it towed and today I find out the counter balance shaft chain broke and damaged the timing cover.
My mechanic is going to look at the con rods bearings and we'll go from there. There's enough that I don't like about the truck to not fix it.
