Just started raining this evening. According to radar, it is a small passing shower with a little bit of lightning and thunder. Should settle the dust.
Out of the next 7 days, 6 of them will be rainy! Temps in the 80's are gone for awhile too. Overnights will be in the low 50's and even the low 40's now.
Those cooler days really sound great Dave. We could use the rain here. Sad that many places all around us are getting rain; some of it really heavy rain too but most of it goes around us.
A steady rain now. Slight breeze but the big news is that the temps have dropped to 51! Inside of cottage is at 61 an hour ago.....
Sounds good Dave. It's getting a bit uncomfortable here. Still no rain though. 82 degrees. Clouds look like they just got here so maybe it will cool some.
Yea that's what I'm talking about. If I am outside cutting wood or wrenching on something I am not complaining at 61
14c in leeds uk 2230 ,just poured a jack and thought stuff it fires getting lit . I did read somewhere about condensation in my flue Only excuse I could think of
Heading down to 53 tonight, at the moment we have a nice cool breeze coming through the porch into the house which feels great.
I have been wondering if we're going to have bad winter? our summer has not been bad. knock on wood. and we have been below normal for a week I would guess.
We had 52 this morning, spent the whole day on the road so nothing was done in the woods today. If it isn't raining hard tomorrow, I'll pull a stump that's near the fireplace.
Depending on just where you are locally this morning......low to mid 40's. Yeah, another brisk start to the day. I did see some leaves that had turned yellow over the weekend too!
51°f now and should hit 85° this afternoon.........We had over 45 days of mid to high 90's and a few days over 100°f.
We've past the peak of summer's heat here. The high temperature has dropped one degree and will drop another degree tomorrow! Hooray! On top of that, archery deer season opens in less than 8 weeks now which also means heating season is not that far away.
