Even after working my 12 hr shift I couldn't resist checking this CL add out. Turned out to be worth the ride. I believe it is white oak. Bigger pieces to be had but the wife and I couldn't lift them.

I can't see the pic for some reason, but if you've got rounds too big to lift, a set of ramps might be where it's at. You will be able to move wood that has no business being in a truck bed.

I'll pop open the big rounds when I'm at a score. It puts more wood into my pile, or saves trips because I have limited space with a Bronco, and have to stack high. If Im at that point, I will usually then just quarter them, because two more whacks with the maul is less wear on the back than lifting two still heavy halves in and out of the truck.

    No firewood gets left behind!

Nor can I see any picture using either Firefox or Internet Explorer. Makes me wonder how the picture was posted.

This pic was copied and pasted from my google photos. Maybe not the best means to post a picture?
No wood was left behind. Shortly after I pulled up a fella pulled up with a nice tandem axle dump trailer and started loading wood like a mad man. I helped him load all the big rounds on to his trailer so nothing was left. Even though I had first pic of the pile he got the better of the score due to his trailer size and being much lower to the ground.
Yes, I should have took one of my ramps along. :stacke:

I'm surprised it even posted with copy and paste. Still better to use the "Upload a File" at the bottom and then insert it thumbnail.
