Give- www.freecycle.org- a shot. See if there's a network in your area. It's all about- I have it but don't need it/ you want it/ come get it.

I am a true believer of Freecycle.org for sure, used it like crazy in Colorado. Here, its a failure sadly. Although even then I was only 5-10 minutes from town and had a ton of no-shows. Still a supporter though!

How about liters and mil-liters seeing as we are suppose to be metric.

Probably won't work in your location, but around here if you have something like that you just want gone...put it on the curb with a free sign and it will just sit. Put it on the curb with a $50 sign and someone will "steal" it in 15 minutes!
I've heard of people doing this with old TVs that don't work...it cost money to dispose of those now ya know... :rofl: :rofl:

It is easy to fall back into the imperial system even after all these years of "supposed to be" metric. Especially since a lot of the things we buy have both measurements on them.

After our one day of rain yesterday, it looks like the sun is going to shine again. I am all for one day of rain each week as the blackberries are coming on strong and I won't have to water my garden. Keeps the fire hazard in check as well. At the other end of the island, they haven't had any rain and the fire hazard is in the extreme. Camp fire ban on and no backyard campfires allowed.

Lots to catch up on after being away a week.

In the spring, we upgraded our RV to a little bigger one with a slide out. Last week was our maiden run with it. It has a better layout inside as well. Never had a unit with ac and it was nice.

Yes happy birthday Thor, and happy belt changing for your mower deck. How far away is fleet farm from you?

Oh boy, AC is a must in camper trailer. Do you have pics of the other side showing the slide out?

Those slide outs really help with the usable space on a camper. My aunt's 24' 5th wheel has a slide out and it feels like it has more room the 30' we have up north with no slide outs. The 30' works well though, because it's 30' long;)

I will get a pic later today. I didn't take many pics as we were camping in the "city" and not the woods. Even with the slide out in, the difference in the layout gives us more room.

Thank you. We have Farm &Fleet 45 minutes away. Not sure I'll make it there today. Yard isn't that bad yet.

My pics aren't going to be that great so here is a link to the Forest River site on the specs and pics for the one we have. If this unit had been available when we first purchased the other one, this is the one we would have bought instead.

Our first home was a 10' x 40' single trailer. Your RV is almost that big!

Had someone want the couch last night, set up a time for picking it up this morning, she changed her mind. I just changed the price to $100
