When in Arizona I really did not mind 90 degrees. In Michigan I hate it. Michigan feels great when it is in the 70's and that is one reason I like the summers in the UP. Actually in the UP you get to enjoy several days of 50's and several more in the 60's. Not too great for swimming but great for working or relaxing. Hunting season one gets to wear heavy clothing for sure and not much concern about flying insects then either. The birds (mosquitoes to most folks) have gone dormant before hunting season.
72° outside, 85°F in the burn trailer I'm running at the Haverhill, NH fair. From inside the burn trailer..... The burn trailer with all the Harman pellet stoves inside. Only had the allure running since it was warm out.
That's a cool setup and display!! It's 79 here in greenville. Yes I typed that right. I live near Greenwood SC but I am in Greenville this weekend. Got out and drove home an hour ago and it felt amazing outside with the little breeze. It was not bad today., high of maybe 91?
Ah yes, that lake effect... I'm close enough to lake Michigan that we too get moderated temperatures much like Backwoods Savage does. So we typically don't get the extreme cold in winter, or the high heat of Summer. That giant lake really helps out with moderating temperatures. Much gooder.
We have another cool morning here, 48 at this time. Once again all the windows and doors open, loving life in a long sleeve shirt. Heat and Humidity to return from Monday on thru the week, ugh.
Yea, I'll be there a day or two, when exactly, not sure yet. Very difficult smelling all that food all day. Another morning at 41°F
Sounds good! Chain saw races and tree feeling contest was awesome yesterday too! One of the races consisted of woman from Pa, 140cc modified saws.
Our county Fair starts Wednesday night and runs through Sunday. It is the last free fair in the state. Obviously they charge for rides, food, drink, but there's no entrance fee to get into the fair.
The nights have been dropping to 50 which feels great and the humidity levels have been 35 & 37 the last two days. It looks like August will be a nice month for our area but with the burning season around the corner, it's almost time to top cover our wood for this year.
Overnights in the 50's here too. There were a couple in the 40's and one or two in the 30's, but they're gone for awhile.
Were 65f right now at 8:43. I think we started the day at 63f, feels amazing. Feels like fall. That cool air in the morning!
