Yet, there are still areas that are dry. We are getting there and no rain in sight now so in this next week it will dry out a lot. Of course there are areas in the woods that have not yet dried out and maybe won't this summer. Then there are areas within about 30 miles of us that are terribly wet and some had some really bad flooding. But typically we can watch the radar and there is lots of rain near us but we get sprinkles or nothing. However, we did get .2" yesterday but that does not last long.

And when you milk them late you get a lot of leaks before the milking starts...

I stopped at a shop that had a bunch of milled planks. 6'-10' feet in length. A lot of pine and some maple.

I didn't buy any. Too big to work in my shop and I don't think there is a huge market here for live edge furniture. A few were wet still and being stored standing up.

Leather belts must stretch. Ain't no way I'm down two notches this summer alone.

Diet Budweiser aka bud select must work if it isn't the belt.

Ok, if I say there's free beer, there's no kidding about that.

Oh, we have internet again at home. .... Until some neighbor mows their lawn without paying attention. Fingers crossed.

So the interesting thing about the utilities cutting lines, is that the utilities do actually get fined according to the ATT guy today. The fine is $1500-$2000 per incident. That said, the att guy said that those fines don't bother WE energies and they just pay them. Which in turn we pay WE. :picard::doh:

I always thought it was 10 lbs a gallon. Must be a Canadian gallon.

I haven't been on here for a bit as we took a short camping trip to the big city. We went down island for a wedding, to see the grandkids, take the dogs to the vet and the dental hygienist. Spend some money, soaked up some sunshine and now we are home.

A US gallon of water is 8 lbs ( 8.34 iirc at room temperature). An imperial gallon, for the UK, and Canada I think uses the imperial gallon it's actually 10 lbs a gallon of water. US gallon= 3.78 liters, imperial gallon= 4.54 liters.

So, when mixing premix gas for the chainsaw, do you canucks use an imperial or us gallon? Hmmm
