tire chain help

    I ordered chains for my girl's quad-the back tires. Called the atv shop, told them year, make, model. The tire size is 22x10x9 and the chains they gave me are 22x8x10; 23x8x10. I'm having a hell of a time getting them on. Will these work? Thx

    I can't help with the sizes, but the proper size chain will go on very easy especially on a 4 wheeler.

    I let most of the air out of the tires, I then lay the chains down in front of the back tires, make sure they're lined up then run your tires on the chains. just make sure they're lined up in the middle of the chains.

    I hook the inside of the tire then the outside.

    My tire size, it was hard to read with the chains on so I'll check again tomorrow morning, they might be 25 x10 x 12.

    Thanks so much Zap for the info and graph! The dumbazz at the powersports place goofed up. I re ordered through your link UPS RED:mad: which costs more than the chains...... happy wife-happy "broke" life :D Aahh well, hope to get them by friday at the latest for the trip. A few of us running saturday Should be a good time. Thx again!

    Oh, I'm "borrowing" my son's gopro. I'll post. Just keep your fingers crossed these chains get here or the wife will be one mad woodswoman. I may permanetly get a skoal ring impregnated on my right azz cheek. o_O

    I just spoke with our dealer on the tire sizes on our Rhino.

    Front Tires - 25 x 8 x 12

    Back Tires - 25 x 10 x 12

    Not yet, just an order number. I emailed them and faxed them to ensure chains in stock and will be at my address by tomorrow. Otherwise, no need to pay ups next day air. Just can't find an actual phone number anywhere.
