F**k that. I ride about 9000 miles each year and am only in my cage for about 3000 miles. The cage gets a workout about every 2 weeks when the weather is fine just to keep the battery charged and the engine lubricated. Unless there is ice on the road I am pretty much on the bike. It is my go everywhere, do everything vehicle. I have a Y2K S-10 also that I use for things like hauling wood, but it seldom gets more than a few hundred miles each year. I sometimes wonder if I wouldn't be better off renting a pickup for the few times I really want one.

I don't touch firewood making until it cools off.

I've got some small black walnut rounds that my idiot friends doing tree work on the ROW left me, as they were supposed to do. I'm not touching them until the humidity and temps drop. Just using the weed wacker to trim after mowing had me sweating pretty good in a tank top, and shorts.

IMG_4465.JPG IMG_0512.JPG Great day today. Great breeze with a coastal storm skirting south of us spilling in dry and cool air.
Spent a little time cutting trail to this root rot oak that was 90% off the ground for I don't know how long.
    My favorite!

Hey.., those look like woods around me! Love those dead, fallen oaks. Can't get enough of them.

Spent some time noodling and splitting some white oak today. Real nice weather for wood working

I have been cutting hard for the past several weeks, although it has not got above 90 here. I looked like a snow man last night since I was limbing two. If maples with over head cuts. I drank a lot of water, paved myself, no issues. I do love a 10 degree day for cutting over this, but summer is so short I try not to complain.
