I have a question for cat lovers. I have 6 indoor cat. That keeps me busy cleaning cat boxes. The cat litter I get is in 40 bags. Heavy for me. I am looking into the light weight clumping stuff. I would like to find a good light weight clumping litter that wasn't too costly. I keep the boxes clean and add baking soda to the litter every time. I just go a box of Advance light wt stuff I'm going to try.

Had some guests over this weekend.

One party's dog jumped on my car door and another visitors car door and left paw prints and scratches in the paint!

Please train your dogs not to jump.

Didn't really care about my car as it now has 252K n it and will soon become someone else car (I hope) but the other car was a new SUV and the owner was sick....

I get the 20# bottles. Usually get Hartz lavender at Wally World but sometimes find Tidy Cat multi at the same price (around $6.50 a bottle). I don't have to add baking soda often since I "top off" the boxes every couple of days and the freshner in the litter does a good job.

I use clumping litter in two of the litter boxes and then use broken down pellets in the 3rd one. Pellets work pretty good and I don't normally have to put in any kind of "freshner" in it either. Course I only have 2 cats.

I just use a regular clumping litter, I have a friend who has a bunch of cats, he uses Feline Pine, loves it.

[IMG]Here is Frank the best lab you would ever meet. He is 8 now and slowing down a bit but he is one of my best friends. And my boy loves him too. He has cost me some among the way porcupines, literally ran into the side of a moving truck. I hope he outlives me but that's probably not going to happen

Larry, have you looked at getting kitter litter from Amazon? I did, not sure if it was more or less than the store but they delivered it (back then, not anymore) to my door. Saved me from hauling it all the way through the store, then out to my truck, then putting it in, and waiting for WWW to get home to bring it inside from my truck in the garage. Kinda like the clever ways you use for your wood pellets from delivery to litter box?

I always get it from Amazon, it is just the handling of the 40 lb bag or box. Not easy to pour. I have to scoop it from the bag, then I mix it with baking soda then put it in the litter box. Then I have to take the bag of soiled litter out. that light stuff is just easier to handle. I have devised a cart to put the bags on and pull them in. Just another PIA. With 6 cats, I am doing a lot of litter box duty. Wife won't have any part of it.
