I went shooting Saturday arvo as well. Got several coke cans an old pot and an oil drum

One of my friends wanted to go out and shoot his SMLE .303 so I picked him up in my truck and took him out to his brothers bush block. We sent some 303, 22 and 12g down range.

I especially enjoyed the SMLE. Shooting a WW2 rifle complete with 74 year old ammo was really interesting.

Our day good so far. Eldest son and his wife left about 2 hours ago heading home after vacation. Now I sit here (and it is nice and cool with door and windows open) while the ornery one is picking raspberries. I'll be out and about soon though. Probably will be starting that tractor too.

We did the mowing and we eating. Some cleaning out on the trail to the neighbor's place. Now stacking some wood and general clean up. Good day so for. Going to meet friends tomorrow for a ride, so we want to get things done today.

My day is going ok so far. Replaced a brake light switch in our classic car, and I'm now working on making the tapered 16' ash poles for our indian tipi.

Tonight we'll be making mountain pies on the keyhole pit.

Nothing went as planned today, but with a beautiful evening on the screen porch, it doesn't really matter.
