Starting back up on removing the old vinyl top on the 1967 Newport. I'm standing down the surface rust and putting primer on it before we ship it off for a new top. I threw a 60 grit disc on the angle grinder and it looks like it will take forever to get the top done. I am thinking about just using the regular grinding disc with caution to get through the paint since it will be covered up with vinyl anyway. Thoughts?
I did try that before. Painfully slow. I did use a grinding disc on the angle grinder to get through a small portion before you and Locust Post posted. I figured as long as I was careful and since the finish will be covered by vinyl i would be ok. But I might try the wire brush if I can find an adapter for my Makita angle grinder.
Oh sorry....i didn't read the "flap" part. I saw them but they were 4.5" diameter. I use 4.0" discs now. I will take a better look and see if i can find some that will fit. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about changing them at this time; if someone revisit a thread and the picture is needed, you can upload it at that time. Any time content is third party, one risks the content disappearing. Here is an example, there was a javascript library used by millions of sites around the world. Instead of having a local copy of that javascript code, million of sites just linked to it and loaded it from the remote site. When the javascript code disappeared, millions of sites became broken. As Grizzly stated, FHC has the space for you to load your images to the FHC servers.
But what if you want to share your garden pictures here and and on the other fire wood chain saw site and a garden forum or two and a varmint hunting site like I have done and still do with a new 3d party server. Al
There's another firewood site?! Heresy I say!! That was the reason I started using Photobucket...but anymore this is the place I bother people....er I mean contribute to anymore.
If they allow photo uploads, I load to all the sites where I post. As you have seen here, when a photo hosting site goes down or blocks because of bandwidth, everywhere on the interweb you have posted, your photos are not showing.
