Sitting back on the heating pad again. The feels a lot better compared to last week but still can't get over the hump.

Took Spartacus to the vet. Poor fella hasn't been keeping anything down since last Wednesday. Luckily he's feeling a lot better today .

Worked at the office for a while before doing the grocery shopping at Wallyworld. Then I took the other dogs to the wood lot. Bucked, splitter and stack some more box elder, after I trimmed some tree limbs to open up the canopy for some blackberry trees. Finished out the day by bringing in some dirt to fill in the low spots by the new fence.

Today we worked on the fence. Me putting up more boards, my bride staining the fence. The back needed a break after do a little landscaping project by our rain barrel.

Getting a bit hard to keep the ole eyes open now. :)

Was out working in the garden past sunset tonight when I heard a rustling in the apple tree. I flashed my headlamp over and saw 4 sets of coon eyes.

Since it was after dark and I don't have a suppressor for my .22 (neighbors) I thought I was gonna have to let them go. Then I had an idea so I can inside and grabbed my son's AR-17 (air rifle, .177, ) and put a few holes in each of them. Celebrating my victory with a bourbon.

So I helped my neighbor drop two dead/dying Ash trees in his yard on Monday. One was 18" DBH, the other 24". We trimmed the branches and cleaned up most of the mess from that on the 4th, then cut up the limbs down to the trunks on Wednesday, I missed Thursday but he got the trunks bucked up without me. We wimped out on Friday, then hit it hard yesterday. Got everything CSS...man am I sore. The deal was a 50/50 split on the wood...his offer, I would have been happy with less.
I always forget to take my camera when going out to work on this stuff...
but I can get a pic of the results, if anybody is interested :D

Well, yes and no. Technically yes, but you know how clear those Bigfoot pics always seem to be...yeah, if I used my phone for pics the Bigfoot pic quality would beat it.
I only make calls/text with my phone.

Up and at it early this morning as we are going to get firewood before it gets hot. Hopefully the bugs will still be sleeping.

I prefer pastys without them in the ingredients.....

    Never did care for them.

Bingo. Did the shopping yesterday, came home, made some pasta, ate, and was pretty much done for the day.
