I found this blowdown on my way into my woods to start clearing my trail of other blowdown. Nice oak and very heavy. I cut 6 12" rounds from the trunk just to allow my tractor and trailer access to the other blow downs. DSC02644.JPG DSC02646.JPG DSC02647.JPG DSC02652.JPG

    And Rutabaga!!

Brad M , the chainsaw doesn't care if it's crooked, and the stove will burn the evidence.

Hey Eric, how do you keep the vegetation out of your trail? Do you spray or just drive on it alot? I wish mine was that clear!

Brad M I mow it. More shaded parts of the path stay cleaner than other parts that get a lot of sun.

Went out to cut some wood for shoulder season 2019. I needed just a little bit to finish that stack. I found another top down next to that trunk that I cut thru the other day. I will get to the oak later this summer or fall. Working for long periods of time in the heat and humidity is hard on this 70 YO body. I have to pace myself.
