    It idled fine last time it ran...then it sat for a few months, now won't idle (but runs fine otherwise)...sounds like a carb clean to me.
    Eric VW said neither him or his FIL had any interest in DIY...so to the shop it goes...after a shot of fuel system cleaner possibly, that's always worth a try, even though it only occasionally works to open up a plugged low speed jet.
    That was my advice, and I'm stickin to it.

    Seafoam? I'm not a mechanic, but maybe put some in the tank and ride it for a few hours? Sorry just thinking out loud.

    So, sitting here surfing FHC with my tea in hand wondering which of the many summer projects I had in mind I would start. Procrastinating being the name of the game right now. In 15 mins the Blue Jays play so I think that will be the first priority. I hope it is a win. At the same time, I might be able to finish the vest I am knitting for campinspecter So, two projects on the way.

    Do you have wild berries or the tame, thornless ones? Only the wild ones here with lots of nasty thorns

    You ever have that one person that no matter how good of a person they are there just an idiot! My wife goes on a kayak trip up north to the family cabin while I was at work so I could not attach the kayak holders to the roof. Her best friend is an absolute sweet heart! Her husband is a very nice guy but a bafoon.......... Once again he screwed up and damaged our property. He is always trying to help and always doing things wrong! I had lock washers on the kayak holder to anchor it to the roof rack and that works great... He decided to cut up a ratchet strap and stuff sections between the holder and roof rack then proceeded to throw away the lock nuts and tighten them so tight he stripped the threads and cross threaded them.:mad::mad::mad::mad: To make it worse he scratched the chit outta the vehicle roof right down to the metal. :picard::mad::mad::mad::headbang::headbang::headbang:

    Needless to say I am pizzed.

    RANT PROBABLY NOT OVER! :zip::zip::hair:

    I thought you might be there this year. We have been watching it off and on this evening.

    Real bummer. Blue Jays went down spectacularly to defeat.

    I was thinking of going, but originally I was planning on being in Florida to help my mother so I didn't make plans for the race. Then I ended up rescheduling the Florida trip for the end of the month. Doh!

    How are the Jays doing? Do you watch the all star game?

    Jays are last in their division, six games below 500 and 4th from the bottom in the American League. Yes, we will probably watch the all star game. The Jays first baseman is starting and the Jays closing pitcher will be there.
