I did something very wrong to my back. No idea what I did though. Hurts like a mofo. Too many things to do to not be able to do anything.

    Or mine. :dex:
We just refinanced to about 1/2 our old rate and cut a few years off the term while keeping the payment virtually the same.
Might start adding a bit to the principle to accelerate things............:) Got one small CC bill to take care of first.

I think I recall a course in college where someone used the previous owners years of use of the land (it was a driveway in this case) and they won.

Sorry, I did something too 2-3 weeks ago, keeps migrating from the crick in upper to pain in lower/hip. Ice, heat, ibu? Good luck. Nomadic tendonitis sucks too.

I hooked up the portable air conditioner in the house today, its from the fire evacs in 2012 (10x18 travel trailer, 104* + = :hair: back then). Wow, not so noisy in a real house and it kicked butt today!! I may deserve the ole fryin' pan, but a storm moved through, clouds, temp dropped, and ran pellet stove for a 1/2 hour:emb: So back at my comfy 77* again, phew!

Ice (in bourbon). It's hot outside. Does that count?

The only upside to this is it got me out of more roofing at the BIL's house tonight, and maybe tomorrow. We'll see how it goes...I may just end up on a roof anyway. Feel bad cause he's under at tight schedule and rain is in the forecast.

3 inches of rain in one hour! 10,000 homes without power. Roads flooded all over and traffic crawling from stoplights blacked out. Getting home sucked, but I have power! Beer is still cold :)

First thing this morning we went for a nice walk in a nearby park. Came home and picked blackcaps while wife went to the grocery store. I got my splitter set up to do some splitting after lunch but the wife called on the way home and told me one of the tires on our SUV is low. Some uncovered truck was losing a bunch of stuff and a piece of metal piereced one of our tires. Took the SUV into the dealer to get it fixed. Didn't get home until after 3. Got a little wood split but I had to stop to fire up the grill for supper. I will finish splitting in the morning if nothing else goes wrong.

Just got home... Went with Dad and Mom new used truck shopping... Quite interesting day to say the least... They ended up getting traded up to a 2013 with decently low miles. So they were happy and I'm ready for a Beer........

The state we live in isn't far off from NY, tax wise. I just know that you can't get what we have here, many other places.

I did some more reading this morning, and NH has done a good job of shielding its state and locally owned lands from adverse possession.

Last night my wife told me that in a conversation with one of the former owners of our house that someone from the town had told them that they should move the chicken coop, and "stop maintaining the land and let it go back to nature" Their response was "Oh yeah, sure thing!" The town has owned this land for 14 years, the previous owners were here for the entirety of the time that the town owned it up until I purchased it, so I dont think I have too much to worry about. It would really suck to have to move 8 cords of wood!

I'm hoping to get out of here in about 4 years. I really like the town next to ours better, and this house doesnt have the two biggest things my wife and I wanted, a pool for her, and a large garage for me, no possibility for either here. I shifted my plan from plowing money into the principal on my mortgage to squirreling it away to buy a piece of land if I see something I want pop up. Its going to be hard to find the dead silence and privacy that my back yard has now though!

I was thinking the same thing (not that I knew of precedent case). Was a survey done for the sale, or did the seller reveal the actual boundary line? If not, and the previous owner used it as theirs, then you just might prevail.
