The point of all of this is to stay aware, and protect yourself at all times. Stupid people do stupid chit, and often at the most inopportune times and places. Game cams was probably there to catch the recently ventilated guy doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing. Looks to be on the ground and hidden.
Of course. I'm going to guess that gate has a lot to do with it considering if he put the camera there, more likely he knew it could happen there. Also if you're renting from a place, it's not considered "your" property. The fact that 15 separate events that lead up to this since 2009 is not a surprise. Old man had a lot of balls taking on someone who owns is own place not to mention a fireman. Plus the whole "charges dropped" should be a warning enough after 4 shots to the chest. This isn't a boasting situation, its elimination of a threat.
The shooting was textbook.The old man pulled that gun and the other guy pumped him with lead immediately. Didn't even give him a chance to point it at him. He saw it then he smoked him. Perfect.
That's the way it should be, brandish an arm, lose your integrity and fight. I would think anyone who boasts carrying like that should lose. If the lesson is harder to learn, well that's too bad.
This is a really dated response for anyone with a gun who is responsible to use it. Regardless of the threat, its still a life you take. You're not considered a murderer if you are protecting yourself and family but a gun is a gun while a threat is eliminated, nothing more is to be added. The antagonist is real lucky here but a life taken can really weigh on your conscience. There are many who have taken a life that regret it, thinking there could have been something else they had done differently. Folks own guns to take care of a threat in the case that there is one but who actually wants to see it be used for such a thing is completely different.
