    Yup! My Grandpa always joked when he met people and they wondered the correct pronunciation because some people say it like Foss, he would say it is supposed to sound like a mouse in the house that likes to hunt grouse. When he would refer to family he would always say the town name followed by Fauss house, ie the Dunbar Fauss house.
