Gorgeous morning this morning. Rainy day yesterday so I did book work and watched the Blue Jays get annihilated. Hate when that happens.
Today is a trip to Mom's to move wood into the basement so campinspecter has room to take more wood over there. This is a job that is so much easier when two people do it. campinspecter gets the hard part though with all the wheelbarrowing. I just get to stack.

Just got a call from my dad - "do I want an Osage Orange log?" Hmm let me think in that... :sherlock: Of course I do!!

I don't know the details yet. The guy he buys his firewood from has gotten into some Osage apparently, and "thought of me" when he saw this log. So I'm thinking it's probably choice.

wildwest I've never heard of that toy before. At first I thought this was going to be a hula hoop thing but it is different. Boy how I remember when the hula hoop came out. You saw them everywhere you went. Someone got rich from a very simple idea and a toy that didn't cost much at all so even the poor could afford one or two.

While at the bakery this morning, I bought 7 pasties for $2 each! Funny thing is though, once I got to the cottage's freezer, there were only 6 left!

Kinda the same thing when I go get a pizza-I get back to the house and 99 lbs discovers that there are some pieces missing!

On the serious side, I finished trimming the garage doors and window this morning! :D

If you plan on milling it, post some pics!

We had the homemade version. A 10 foot piece of rope with a half of a brick or small log tied to one end. One kid would be in the middle and spin it around and every one would try to jump it. Much gooder.

Could be dumb or could save some $$$ if women in your life (or you) like professional hair stuff (shampoo and conditioner etc.) There is a once a year 50% off liters here, free ship over $50 Liter-Size | Shampoos, Conditioners | Beauty Brands

WWW grabs whatever is handy, so we are stocked up for a year.

Yep, this one was right up there with hula hoops, roller skates, first bicycle and tap dance shoes (funny those shoes disappeared quickly LOL).

Actually, my father was very involved in my softball as a kid, drilled through a couple balls and added ropes to them to swing around your head for others to practice batting. Clever.

Headed out in a minute to cut strawberries (160lbs) and whip some cream (6gallons), selling strawberry shortcake for a fundraiser at our towns seafood festival on the town green after the parade this morning.
