After the nice dry air earlier in the weak we had the air mass from the tropical storm push in and it was oppressivly humid for 2 days. Back to about 50% humidity today and it's about 70f. Nice to have the windows open, even if it gives the pita puppy more opportunities to bark at everything and every one.
I had a buddy go to the moutains of NC 2 weeks ago. The cabin they stayed at on the small lake had a fire place. They had a fire every evening. That week was unseasonably cool. Some nights where they were was upper 40s. Most were in the 50s. I think k the fire was a novelty as much as anything for them being from the cost without real working fireplaces. But they were chilly and possibly didn't bring many warm chlothes.
It was 70 last night out by the water at my parents, mom gets cold at anything less than 75 so she wanted a fire in her new to her pit and I had just built the brick bottom for it. By the time My parents went to bed I had grabbed a bit of cherry and some Powers , enjoyed the last bit.
Well, we busted into the 60's here today. And rain again. Yup. Looks like if the lawn will be cut before the 4th, I'll have to go right down to the wire! 4 more days of rain coming.....
Yes Dave, this is what we call a wet summer. Amazing and I've noticed you've really had no need for air conditioning as of late. It did warm up here yesterday and today. Rain on the way though.
Wet and crappy yesterday with the temp at 49 this morning. Stove was on with locust. Pretty sure were done now?
Slept at the cottage last evening and of course, made a fire in the 13! Woke up to a very comfortable temp this morning (inside)....outside it was raining and cool. 57 as we type now.
The.....THE.....THE!!! Temps still in the upper 50's this morning, supposed to warm up a little today. At least we don't have the fog that was forecasted.
It's down to 18*F outside. Just loaded up with eucalyptus and cypress. 77*F inside Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like you're keeping things nice and warm leoht I don't even want to think about temps that low!
