And so I went to this junker guy place out by my in-laws today in hopes to find some salvaged EPDM rubber. I found none of that but I did find a very large pile of old tin roofing.he wanted a buck apiece for them I gladly bought 60. IMG_3296.JPG

    Sails !!

I have repurposed fiberglass and plastic ones. They work well except for the wind trying to steal them away. Luckily I have lots of pine trees and rocks to hold them down.

Atleast 200 if I were to guess. the ones I took didn't even make a dent in the pile.

Not many barns where im at, mostly people are using them for decoration so anything on CL or the like just goes like wildfire here.

It's suppose to start drying up today.. I guess I'll bring construction of the ark to a halt for now.

I was concerned that high winds would carry these away, but last night with the Gail force winds and sideways rain ( insert forest grump accent) I can rest assured that anything short of a tornader, I'm good.

Lucky that rain didn't "come straight up from underneath" carry your hard work away! Nice looking stacks there! The tin is the cherry on top!

Fantastic! I've never paid for any of ours but I would gladly pay that price. You did great.

    I'm guessing those are 10'?
