    I hope your new friend is able to adjust and leave his bad experiences behind him. It took over a year for one of our recues to come to really trust us and not be snappy.

    I hope to try using "tick tubes" to cut down the tick population around here. Have cut it back a lot just by cutting and removing underbrush and tall grasses.

    Just be careful having that around cats. Although it sounds like they shouldn't be exposed, you never know about their curiousity.

    Woops, we just tried to pull a tick of Blackie:emb:. Winding down for the night and he was snuggling with me and I felt something on his arm, WWW grabbed the tweezers after I showed it to him. Nope, not a tick. We both had to get our reading glasses to see, poor lil dog (tolerant lil guy!), it was a skin tag-mole thing. All is well now.

    Glad Sandy's stitches are healing well enough that we could finally take the onesie off her. She liked that :banana:and hasn't tried to lick the areas... yet. Keeping an eye on her. Stitches come out Friday.

    Sandy has her stitches out this monin. Dr Chris called yesterday and the 4 tumors were benign. Happy girls right here... ;)
