If I ever want to spend the money I might get one. I came close to buying one from Dex but never did.

Funds are tighter now so I am not buying toys right now. I am trying to get rid of some big stuff at the house. I would love one to play with though. I just have been tuneing by ear and make sure it's on the rich side

Even after I tune with a tach I put it in wood and fine tune by ear. I think with a bit of practice a guy can better tune a saw by ear. A teach is more of a guid line to me. It will get ya close but not always 100% with that said I have a tach wired into every saw and I use and reference it a lot.
