    The roses took a beating with the rain overnight.

    We went to a fair in the next town over. We had a great time and the town common was busy with craters, games and food vendors.

    This tree is on the common and I'd like to identify it. It is pretty massive. The leaves look like maple almost.

    I drive by this chainsaw carving frequently, but never stopped to really look at it. We walked by it today and I grabbed the pics.

    I took Pallet Pete advice.... grab a beer and enjoy the show....:D.... oh I will... I'm watching the weather channel and checking outside every periodically... it's really impressive with the lightning ⛈ strike and thunder going on....so far not much rain, the light show...

    About all the warnings except 'nators.... Wind, hail, and heavy rain... Pretty much why I'm not sleeping yet... the conditions are just right for bad weather....

    I met my parents and our friends out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse tonight. Kinda an early Father's day thing. Afterwards we all went to our friends house fire a few drinks.

    Now we're home, getting set to go out on the lake tomorrow. It's not going to be so tropically humid tomorrow like it was today, but it still should be in the mid 70's and somewhat sunny.
