...and got some hackberry instead. Saw it on the side of my road last night so I had to get it this morning. Got about a truck and a half...pretty big stuff too. Guess I'll stop funing around and head to the tint shop and plan on splitting it this weekend.
Free wood is hard to resist..... but dang if I would want to be seen in a Dodge. Get a real dark tint. sorry Brother, you left that one wide open and I couldn't help myself. Nothing against Mopar's, I've had em all.
I agree with your priorities, Moparguy. Around here if we hesitate to grab roadside wood for very long at all, it be gone!
Me too! Today I was heading out of a parking lot and a tree service company was taking down an oak. The limbs were off, but they had a ways to go for the trunk and I was in a hurry to get to another location. I found myself stopped, looking at the tree, my watch, and watching the pace of the operation....wondering if I could just wait long enough to get a few sections in the back of my truck and still make my appointment on time....the sad part is that I couldn't wait.
