I got outvoted. One against one.......she wins. :picard:
She turned down the shaker, and all it was doin' was running the fan, so I turned it off.
The fire idea hasn't subsided though.

IMG_4313.JPG IMG_4312.JPG Ran this morning, went to the butcher with the wife for steaks for tomorrow and then got back on the horse with the saw I picked up on the side of the road earlier this year and you guys helped fix for 7 duckets.
This thing runs like it stole something.

The best kind, a standing dead Red Oak.
I was looking for a way to get to a finger of our property with the ATV where I know there are a few more of them and came across this guy in the area I was going to clear trail.

Cleaned up some storm damage and took out a giant juniper bush infested with ground cover for the old folks up the road today. It wasn't that hot but the humidity had my boots sloshing.

I was leaning to an oak, but I have little experience with that.

I mostly deal with ash, elm, silver maple, mulberry and locust.

To me Mulberry is a street across town and locust is a grasshopper.

The weather today was all over the place, sprinkles and cool, humid and windy, bright and hot, ending in a cool rain storm. Whew! ;)

Worked on the fence some after the parade and got the dogs out to the wood lot for a bit of splitting and stacking.

Dogs weren't a lot of help with either. :)

Picked up some good German beer to enjoy this weekend and now just kicking back.
