Day three of 90's here. It's supposed to break with a line of t-shirts this afternoon. Then temps in the 70's for the next few days. Might actually cut and haul some of that white oak I have access to!

I'm taking today off. Screw this. I went out at 7:30 and it was muggy as all hell and that was in the shade where my processing area is at. I get shade there til about 11:15 but 7 days in a row working on it I'm tapping out today. Think I'm gonna scalp the grass, maybe itll burn up and I won't have to mow it as much! LOL.

I'm working down in the GCV right now, it's been really nice. Forecast is over 100° by Friday and staying there.:bug: I'm going home, forecast high is 88 and chilly at night. I moved to the mountains for a reason.

This hot in June makes one wonder what July and August will bring. Probably will stay above normal well into fall again too.

Been hot here for the last 2 days. Today was very humid and the forecast is not showing much relief in the next couple of days. Moved about 1/2 cord to the barn from 2 stacks that had fallen over. Sweated from the first load. Maybe roll myself out of bed early tomorrow and make some rounds before it get supper hot and muggy.

Been over 90ºF the last 2 days but the rain in today's forecast might cool it off a bit.

Already waiting for snow and burning weather. The neighbors think I'm nuts splitting every night after work in this heat.

Lol! I don't have any neighbors close but there are a few hunting camps back the dirt road I live on. One of the camps down the road the people are up for some R&R. They came up the road this evening on their ATV. They stopped and said the same thing to me!

Yeah we are suffering here in Eastern Washington as well. It was 38°F when I got up, had to light a fire. It warmed up to something like 70 today, and the next few look to be about the same, or a little cooler.

    Just sayin' ...

Hot and humid here. Storms headed our way last night. We got a sprinkle is all. Someone may have got something though as we were without power half the night.

Another nasty hot and humid one here again. I stacked for about 5 hours then a boomer came through and shut me down. Me and sidekick are hitting the river all day tommorow.
