I was surprised to see an American flag that was made overseas. Never bought one that wasn't made in the USA. Just doesn't seem right to fly our country's flag which was made somewhere else.
I went to my cousins retirement ceremony from the Navy and a Chief Petty Officer recited this poem while they passed the flag. Very touching. This isn't the speaker but sounds similar.
Tell your cousin the next time you see him Thank you for his service.... That's cool, ain't seen that one before.... Thanks for posting it...
Ya 30 years of service most of it in the US but a couple of deployments to the desert. I think if there were no restrictions he would stay in for life. He's Navy thru and thru.

I always have our Canadian flag flying but I make an exception for the week of Canada Day and Independence Day.
