    Yea, I'm close to Spencerport NY. Also spent almost 20'years in the bicycle business back in the day. June 5th 1986 I left on a cross america bicycle trip, long story short - never made it - bikes and equipment got stolen on our bus trip to Oregon (where we were going to start). I still have a thing against Greyhound to this day!

    It would be nice to meet you and your wife.

    Thanks again, and sorry about you trip, but hey, its never too late. A friend of ours, he's retired, rode accross country last summer. It took him 72 days.

    Looks like you'll be within about 10 miles of my place at NY31 vs Hartland Rd. The building I work in overlooks the Erie Canal.

    You've got my address already, feel free to stop in! If you start your trip a week sooner, you might catch some other fellow FHC'ers camping out here as well!

    It's a nice area there when you get off the beaten path. Some history too!

    Sorry Ralphie but I'm an hour by car south of Chatham (at least) and will probably be out of the area anyway when you are up here.

    Otherwise I'd say pack the 661 and we'll get 'er straightened out proper for ya!

    I'd suggest you hook a bit south of the Erie Canal corridor at some point and catch part of the Finger Lakes if you have never been there. Very nice rolling countryside along them.
