    I mowed for about 3 hours tonight at work and the wood lot. Ran well. 46" deck vs the old 42" will be nice.

    There is one down side about this mower though.

    I guess I can't mulch babies with it. :(

    You have to check the " I don't care if I run over my baby" box and you'll be just fine. :)

    One thing I really love on my new to me ariens tractor is that the only safety nanny is that you can't start it unless it's in park. My dad disabled the seat switch on it. The only other safety is that you can't start it with the PTO engaged. Ahhh. Simpler times.

    So you got $300 off for a tear in the seat? Good job....but I would've held out and bargained for some laundry detergent also!

    It was indeed! It was extra cool because I asked just once and didn't haggle. She just came back after looking over their cost and told me $300.

    I feel I will live today. Yesterday I came home from work at noon and went to bed. Stayed there until this morning. Wet weather this morning and still feeling off so no walking. Two day left until the school's school leaving ceremony and I have lots to do before then. June is the busiest month so no being sick for me.

    Sitting out back throwing the ball for the dog when a baby robin falls outta my tree.

    There are now no less than 10 adult robins all making a ruckus out here now. Baby can't fly. Holding dead still. So is the dog....just waiting on a get it command. (Which he won't get from me)
