Many of you have seen me mentioning an arborist friend quite often, which is one of the sources I have for firewood. I recently began my retirement preparation by joining his company as a part time employee. I now do estimates for the company, and/or participate on gigs 2 to 3 nights a week. I wont be posting every arborvitae I cut down, but will post the good firewood ones. Enough tree work makes me look forward to the office, and enough office work makes me look forward to tree work! Hopeful it works out for both of us. A new journey begins.....

Welcome to retirement. No, it is not what you thought it might be before you decided to do it. I have been officially retired for 5 years so far and have yet to see the day that I had nothing on my plate for that day.

    Bingo.
The nice thing about that though, is that you don't always have to empty the plate....or even pick up your fork. :dex::D

Greg, congratulations on your retirement. I got less than a month to go for mine. What a great feeling.
