    Timber's first day of cutting firewood yesterday. She's not a big fan of the saw, but she likes riding in my truck much better than the 4runner because she can sit right next to me.

    Welp... gotta fill you in on Sandy's vet check up today. She had 2 lumps we didn't like. Vet says they're tumors and they really oughta go. They're small right now, so good time to catch it. So... next Tuesday, that'll happen. Doesn't look like too much of a big deal and should take care of it. Though, more could show up, of course. She had some removed just before we brought her home over a year ago. Fingers crossed.

    The 2 loads of alder that I brought home Monday are all split and put away. Before those 2 loads I already had more firewood on my property than ever before. Timber did a good job figuring out the routine of running the wheelbarrow back and forth between the driveway and the stacks out back.
    A tired puppy is a well behaved puppy.
